Belladonna's Cupboard Moon Magick palette contains 12 mystical shades that are iridescent and multi-faceted highlighters used on their own, but when added over other shades or products, they take on completely new prism like & vivid colors. Each palette also comes with a lip gloss that goes on with a subtle clear gloss and pink or purple glitter depending on the light, but worn over black creates the deep purple metallic hue pictured here.
Alchemy was the precursor to chemistry. Alchemists aimed to do things like creating elixirs of eternal life and turn base metals into gold and silver. Modern science and chemistry has found these things to be impossible, but alchemy still shaped the foundations for our exploration and approach to chemistry today. For thousands of years, people have worked to develop new concoctions to enhance beauty. Since the beginning, When Belladonna’s Cupboard launched our first round of products in 2014, the emphasis on alchemy in our style and branding was heavy. Belladonna’s Cupboard is an independent cosmetics line founded in Kansas City, and is now based out of Los Angeles, CA & Wichita, KS. The name itself stirs imagery of alchemy and magic. Belladonna refers both to Deadly Nightshade, also known as Belladonna, and the phrase Bella Donna which in Italian, means beautiful woman. In true alchemic fashion, with “kitchen chemistry”, we are a small brand run by individuals, not a big company and our methods and products have too, transformed over time. We promise that we will always disclose exactly what our products contain and exactly how and why they work like we say they do. No typical beauty industry exaggerations here.
