*UPDATED FOR AUGUST*
As most of you know, we are a tiny business. 2 sisters doing everything. We’ve recently experienced some viral attention and rapid growth, (You like us, You really like us!) and while we have been preparing for this while grinding for years, we’ve still been experiencing some growing pains while working to get to a point where we can begin to outsource manufacturing and production. Which we will have, starting with the Vampire the Masquerade release in October. We are working with a local manufacturer in L.A. and we will maintain full control over formulation and quality. The Malleus Palettes are still on track to go out around the end of August. We will also be caught up on all backed up orders placed in June and July by the end of August. We are starting to ship out the tentacle brushes and it will likely take us at least through all of August to get them all out. We've sent out email updates individually and en masse about other specific time frames for certain products shipping as we catch up.
If you need something by an event deadline or within a specific timeframe, please contact us at email@example.com and we will do our best to accommodate you. We usually respond to emails within 24 hours but between August 15th-25th, it may take a little more time as we work on getting moved and caught up on processing & shipping. Email is by far the quickest and easiest way for us to keep track of communication with you and serve you best.
Your support and business means the world to us! We greatly appreciate your patience while we work to expand our operations. We couldn't have gotten to this point with out you and having a high volume of orders as a result of growth is a good problem to have! Thank you all so much!
our processing times will go back down to 5-10 business days by the end of August and all orders placed in August for non-pre-order items will be sent in August.
If you order a pre-order item with other items, they will all ship together when the pre-order item is ready, except for makeup bags, those are fulfilled and shipped by a 3rd party and will always arrive separately.
As with all pre-order items, final details about the product are subject to change before initial release. The final result will be high quality and any changes that result beforehand will be imposed solely to improve the product to it's highest potential before releasing it.
We do not give refunds on pre-order items until they are shipped. We are a tiny company without access to investors or outside funding and we use the funds from pre-orders to order supplies or cover materials to put the new products that the pre-order is for on the market. We always stand behind our products and believe sincerely in customer satisfaction. We will always refund or offer store credit exchange for our products once they are in your hands if you're not satisfied.
All U.S ORDERS over $50 ship for FREE. Shipping internationally is FREE for orders over $100
Are your products vegan? Yes!
Are your products gluten free? Yes!
Are your products paraben free? Yes! However we do use preservatives on any products that require liquids to process or use! This is to keep you safe and keep the products from growing mold. It's important!
Do you test on animals? Have you ever? NO! We are a completely cruelty free company AND we only use suppliers that are curelty free as well.
I have an idea for a really cool eye shadow/lipstick color, can I show you a swatch? And can you make it for me? Maybe. Show us the swatch and we'll see what we can do.
I have really sensitive skin, will your cosmetics cause me to break out? Honestly, we can't answer that. Everyone's skin is different. The term "non comedogenic" that some brands use is an unregulated term and anyone can say their products are non comedogenic without any testing or specifications required. We don't use unsubstantiated buzz words like that. The only way to know for sure is to try it. We offer sample sizes for most of our products. We also list all of our ingredients, the safety and research behind them and why we use them here. If you are not satisfied with anything you order from us, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do whatever we can to assist you through return or exchange if necessary.
I'd like to write a review on your products, can you send me free stuff to try? Maybe. We love bloggers, Youtubers and brand ambassadors! We are also always looking for people to try and review our products so we can improve them. Email email@example.com with a link to your blog/website. If you're chosen to be a reviewer, we will send you samples through the mail (yes, free) to try out.
Do you pay people to write reviews? Will you hide negative reviews? No and No! We will never pay anyone to write a review, and we don't believe in hiding bad ones! Paying people can sometimes lead to an unfair bias, and we believe everyone has a right to their own opinion.
I own a store and would love to carry your products. Can I make a wholesale order? Yes! Sign up for an account through our store section on this website. Then email us at contact@Belladonnascupboard.com or use the contact form on our wholesale page and we will upgrade your account to a wholesale account once we receive all of your store info.
What is your return policy? We honour our product 100% please contact us if you have an problems whatsoever! Sometimes makeup breaks during shipping, it happens to big brands too. Some post offices specifically are WAY harder on packages than others and we've heard horror stories from USPS employees about some of them specifically stomping on packages marked fragile, so we don't do that. We do add a protective barrier inside the palettes themselves, put them in a sleeve and wrap them in bubble wrap thrice over. We always do our best to replace any breakages or instruct our customers on how to do repairs on their shadows if it's just a small crack.
Just to be clear.. hand pressed pigments tend to be more on the fragile side. There are reasons for this.
1. There are less additives and fillers. I could add these things and make them more durable, but that would compromise the color payoff.
2. Less binder. Similar reason as above.. if I add more binder, it will be more durable, but it will also be harder and more difficult to use with a brush.
3. I only have a desk top hand press. I don't have large machinery to work with. I don't have a full lab. No hydraulic presses or pressure tubes. I have elbow grease and upper arm strength.
4. Sometimes we emboss our pigments. This makes them look more polished and "pretty. This also makes them more fragile, especially when the embossing stamp used has very small and intricate lines and details.
So please bare with us, all our makeup is handmade and the pressed pigments specifically go on like butter while the color payoff is like no other. Thank you for your continued support, loves!
